Paper Slip Sheets: Basic Technical Specifications
A paper slip sheet replaces the traditional pallet to cut cost and save space in storage and transport. These are the basic technical specifications to know before ordering.

A paper slip sheet is an alternative to the traditional pallet, used to transport and store goods at lower cost and with less space. These are the basic technical specifications of paper slip sheets:
1. Material
- Usually made from high-strength multi-ply kraft paper or solid board.
- Good strength and moisture resistance to protect goods.
2. Thickness
- Thickness ranges from 0.6 mm to 1.5 mm depending on the weight of the goods.
- The most common thickness is 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm.
3. Size
- Standard slip sheet sizes are 1200 mm × 1000 mm (European pallet standard) or 48 × 40 inches (US pallet standard).
- Sizes can be adjusted to suit specific goods or warehouses.
4. Load capacity
- A slip sheet can carry loads from 500 kg to 2,000 kg depending on material and thickness.
- The exact load should be determined for each shipment.
5. Pull tabs (lips)
- Tabs on one or more edges make the sheet easy to handle with a push-pull forklift.
- Tab width is usually 50 mm to 100 mm, so the attachment can grip and pull the sheet easily.
6. Moisture resistance
- Sheets can be coated or treated against moisture, especially for humid environments or goods stored for a long time.
7. Environmentally friendly
- Made from recyclable materials that break down easily and do not harm the environment, helping companies meet environmental standards.
