The challenge

Bagged chemicals (25 – 50 kg bags) and boxed products are heavy, stacked high and often shipped long distances by container. Wooden pallets add weight, use container height and require fumigation for export.

Recommended solution

  • Heavy duty slip sheets replace pallets for unitised bags, handled with push-pull forklifts.
  • 4-way paper pallets for warehouses using hand pallet trucks – fumigation-free.
  • L-shaped edge protectors stabilise loads under stretch film and strapping.
  • 7-layer cartons for heavy boxed goods.

Note: dangerous goods require UN-certified packaging – please state this in your RFQ so KOVIF can confirm what can be supplied.
